From the moment we arrived we were impressed with the relaxed and welcoming staff. The decor I would describe as sophisticated modern Italian tables were not too close pleanty of menu choose with a twist on classic Italian dishes. Had an amazing meal and presently surprised at the bill. Did not have to wait to long between courses and every request was dealt with promptly and curtiously. All staff went out of their way to be the very best convivial hosts. Totally recommend especially if your a lover of Italian food.

The Pickle Crew had the best well deserved feast at Ask Italian Restaurant Marlborough during our Bristol Rally Gravel Bike Adventure! The atmosphere was magic was made to feel extremely welcome despite our rugged & tired appearance, the lovely staff took real good care of all our needs & wants and a huge thank you to the lovely Alex We will return Xx

We were told that there was only one chef working while there were more than 6-7 tables in waiting. But our foods were served within 10 minutes of ordering! My son asked how did the chef did all these magic by cooking these delicious meals so quickly! Superb service the team. The menu does not only include the not-so-typical kind of italian selections but also the classics. Impressive cooking!

10/6/24. Popped in for lunch, Rowan immediately made us feel welcome and offered us a choice of seats. When Suz was choosing her wine he proceeded to give her a sample to try which was very much appreciated. Two lovely dishes duly arrived and parmesan was grated straight from the block, lovely! Food was tasty and thanks again for your service Rowan.

Lovely food, lovely environment, lovely staff; what's more to love? I suggest the Chicken Lecca Lecca starter, it's unbelievable. We were served by Toby, who was very friendly & helpful, and the food was prepared very fast! We had a brilliant evening, thank you!

Came here for a night out and valentines meal with my other half. Was very easy to book in and was given a number of available slots. Then received a text to confirm that we could still make it which is nice. Greeted by a really nice waiter who dealt with the other half's gluten intolerance really well, was sat and ready to order very swiftly. Ordered food via waiter, who gave us good recommendations as we had never been before! There is also the chance to order through the app which can be done at any point throughout the meal! Food came quick, tasty and good portions, wait staff were awesome and very attentive! Would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time at Ask Italian. The restaurant is warm and welcoming, with a lovely atmosphere, but what truly made the evening special was the outstanding service from Alex. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful — always with a smile — and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and generous portions, and every dish was full of authentic Italian flavor. A big thank you to Alex for her impeccable work and for making our visit so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Welcomed us as a table of 9, lovely atmosphere. We were looked after well by very nice staff. Food was really good and a nice range for everyone to find something. Drinks really nice too in regards to quantity/ quality/ price. Generally, more expensive than your 'normal' restaurant but the quality is there. Would recommend.
